Unbirthday

A Very Merry Unbirthday to You!

She lives!!! Although very precariously and is homebound indefinite this week. I just hope my eye is less crazy looking in time for Comicon. Or... Maybe I'll slap on a zombie costume and blend in!
I had a bad accident on Friday, my birthday. I had a whole day of fun planned for myself and the children because my husband wanted to work on Friday. Here's your warning if you have a weak stomach, you might want to skip this entry!

My sister gave me this for Christmas and I'm very intimidated by it. It's so cute & I can't wait to use it!! Yes, that's Dave Seville in the background.

Here's my version of Origam-Owl Living locket. Instead of spending $35, I only spent $10.

We finally had professional photos done. My friend, Christina, did our pictures and they came out amazing! The only other time we've had pictures done? Prom and wedding... LOL! We took Cooper to a kid's salon. He thinks there's a secret legion of ear collectors. He won't let anyone get near his ears with scissors or clippers. The nice lady shampooed his hair and cut it while he watched Wubbzy.
Cute kid.

Our photo shoot at Freestone Park in Gilbert. When we arrived, there were about 10 other people having their pictures taken, including a lady in a bikini with maroon hair and elf ears. Wish I got her picture!

L-R: Cooper's Baby Birth Club Jan/07 friend, Autumn. Luka, Jessica & Neal.

"We climbed all the way up here by ourselves!"
Then I had a heart attack.

SuperMom shops at Target. My nursing cover is my cape!

May 18th, 2012. My first random act of kindness. I left a Scent Circle in the mailbox for our mail person. The summer must be brutal on mail carriers!

This is a bag filled with baby formula, rice cereal, and baby food.
I dropped it off at A New Leaf - La Mesita Family Homeless Shelter.

Then, it happened.
I got my receipt and put Luka is his chair. He threw his hand up and it went straight into the left corner of my eye.

I had muffins to deliver.
I had a grandmother to visit.
I had a basket of goodies to give to the wonderful women who take care of my grandma.

After I stopped screaming and crying, I looked in the mirror and drove straight to St Luke's.
Poor Cooper was waaay traumatized.
He stayed calm and held my hand.

GROSSNESS

Here's where the nice guy came in and said he was going to pour raver-dye in my eye and look for scratches with a backlight.
He said I have a tiny one, shaped like a tiny, little fingernail, lol!

Day 3 - Still obviously a HOT mess. Spent my whole weekend indoors working on crafts, housework and laying around.

At my Doctor's. I'm A-OK. No contacts until I stop my eye drop treatment.
Crappy birthday, although, any day after that is an improvement. :D

XOXO - T

  1. I need to do the professional photos thing too; it's been just about as rare for me as it has for you.
