Monday

Kids are still sick. Cooper had a fever of 103F last night and earned himself a trip to the ER where they told him he most likely had a virus. He still has Pacman Fever.
Since I knew we were just going to sit around today, I put myself to work. I made my Scentsy magnets. The girls on some of the FB groups are super creative and are sharing some of their wonderful ideas.
I employed "Lucy", my hot-glue gun, and got to work.

These two, I put a hair pin and a regular pin to put in my hair or fasten to a jacket.

Last night was the Mad Men premiere! How was it?! I had to go read a recap somewhere because I know I probably won't get a chance to watch it until it appears on Netflix next year.

    Brief update. Until next time!

Motaba

Haha, every time sickness hits the house, I wonder who the monkey was that infected us.... The boys and I have been sick all week since we traveled to Mom's house.

My Saint Patrick's Day Mani. OPI Did It On 'Em

A giant storm came. It snowed all Sunday and Monday morning. When we went to visit mom at her office, the sun came out!

My sick baby. I saw that Hillary Duff named her baby Luca Cruz Comrie. Luka! Yea! Not sure about the Cruz, lol!

My WOTM/SOTM for May came in! I love it, it's so beautiful! My warmer is lilac with a hint of goldenrod on the top rim.

Behold! My Scentsy nails!

What I think the Scent of the Month smells like... It's so lovely...

Practice Safe Scents

Hi! It's me again! Today, we're going to learn how to make wax samples for Scentsy.

Things you need: cutting board/wax paper, paper towels, Ikea ice molds, your awesome Scentsy warmer, your favorite brick/bar. I also prefer a non-serrated knife (less mess).

Warm up the wax in warmer. When it hits liquid, immediately move to your work area.

If you have steady hand or a warmer with a spout, you can directly pour into your molds. I filled up these up only a 1/4 (more samples!) using a tiny tea spoon (spoon for tea??)

Then straight into the freezer for 5 minutes. I was cooking while I did this! It's super easy. Hands off my Ice Cream! ;)

Then gently move the mold around and they pop right out! Aren't they cute!

I picked up these tiny jewelry bags 100 for .99

Printed these out on the back of my business cards. Shout out to a fellow Scentsy consultant for the description idea!

2 x .99 Ikea molds
1 x .99 bags
1x 4.25 business cards

$7.25 to make 25 samples!

PRACTICE SAFE SCENTS! :)

Sponge

This looks like the spray when the ocean waves hit the rocks and a fan of water splashes up. The water is so translucent, like glitter.
I call this look "Sea Spray.

I still had SinfulColors Greek Isles on. I cut a sliver 1/2"in wide off a dish sponge, dipped it in Greek Isles Neptune and sponge painted 2/3rds the way up my nail. After that dried, I dipped it in Zoya's Trixie and delicately sponged silver on top. Then I finished with a top coat to smooth it all down.

New! Sinful Cast Away & Scentsy!

Hi! Been crazy picking up nail polish here and there, kinda been spoiling myself. I gotta chill out for a couple weeks (until the summer lines are released, haha).

Here's the Nail of the Week.
So beautiful! It's SinfulColors "Greek Isles"
from the new LE Cast Away collection. I'm wondering how close it is to China Glaze's "For Audrey"? Not all greens in March have to be green-green. Blue-greens, sea foams are way in right now.

SinfulColors Cast Away Neptune, Pandora, Zeus, Grecian Sun, and Greek Isles. I didn't pick up the other colors because they will not work with my perma-tan, Navajo skin. (Olympia & Be Happy.)

More newbies to love: Sinful Amethyst, rare OPI DS Perfection & Claire's Magnetix polish.

The special treasure! Sinful Green Ocean, essie shine of the times, Fantasy Files Sparkle (which I think is OPI Mad As A Hatter's big brother), & Claire's Candy Shop (a Deborah Lippman dupe of.. Candy Shop).

I've signed up with Scentsy! I'm an Independent Consultant! I think it's a great opportunity for me & for my family. Selling something I fancy already will be wonderful.

"What is it?" - Wickless candles you plug in. The posh warmers release the fragrant oils into your home, office, space. Wickless is a great idea for homes with rambunctious pets, curious children and people who fall asleep with candles lit.

"It's so expensive!" - Add up all the things you buy to warm up your home with fragrance and Scentsy is actually a better investment. With over 80 different bars to buy, including 10 "man-cave" options, these's gonna be something for you. The warmers are super posh! They're handmade, hand painted with the latest decor fashions and trends.

"What do they smell like?" - Call me, text me, email me, Facebook me & I'll bring my basket of goodies to you. Click here to browse my store!!

Lots of love & happiness! XOXO
